Bumpy Roads
Today I took a bit a hike down to a local coffee shop. That felt pretty good. Of course coming back was harder, it's always harder because there are five flights of stairs and I was really huffing at the top. I'm guessing that's because I was carrying a heavy bag, not because I'm out of shape.
I took a bit of look at my incision this morning. There is definitely a scar forming at the center of it, a firm white scar which is thicker towards the center. I don't know if this is an early indication of keloid scarring.
I'll give it a closer look tomorrow, I think. Right now it burns a little. I wore jeans today, probably not a good idea for a day when I'm doing a lot of walking.

Hi I was happy to find your letter. I had a hysterectomy 8 weeks ago. This past week I started light bleeding that scared the crap out of me i have had no bleeding since the surgery. of coarse it happened on a sunday late in the afternoon i had been doing alot of heavy cleaning, I finally felt good enough to get to those closets Ive been missing since surgery. well anyways I called my doctor 1st thing Monday morning because I was suppose to start working that morning as well. the doctor said it was probably hormones that it was time for my period . Boy was I shocked!to say the less.I didn't get much information about these so called mini periods. was hoping to find out more because everyone else ive talked with who has had this surgery said they never heard of mini periods after a hysterectomy. The mini period came with everything back aches leg aches headache and I was a real crab to my family. How does this happen and can I except this every month? needless to say the one thing I was looking forward to after the hysterectomy no more period and wham! I was wrong . I still have my cervix and ovairies .any information you have on this subject I would love to hear about Thanks So much Donna
