I am still diseased!
I am still diseased!
Thank you everyone for your condolences. :-)
The best way to describe the attack of this particular virus: Have someone jam Pop-Rocks (candy) underneath your skin. Preferably in the palms of your hands, fingertips, between your toes, and your footpad. Oh, and don't forget the roof of your mouth, back of your throat, tongue, and yes, your nostrils. It's lovely. The little blisters are too numerous to count.

The first day of the disease, you get a fever and sweat buckets.
Then your feet and hands and throat start to burn. Like someone is holding a lit match to these areas. Then it feels like pin pricks all over your hands and feet and throat. And then by the third day, you can see all the little teensy (and some not so teensy) blisters start to surface from under your skin where they were hiding (and burning). And then they really start to zing. (see Pop-Rocks description above). Add in a little random nausea, fatigue, and headache, and you have the little disease from hell.
Funny how no one ever talks about it.
Now you know.
Please send flowers.
Until next time. :-)
PS: Still pull free. Is anyone counting the days? :-D
