Come Along-a Baby...
... well, still doing pretty good here on day three of the Sinemet/Lexapro combo.
I have been noticing a headache after my second afternoon dosage of the Sinemet.
Question: Is it pronounced Sin-a-met or Sign-a-met? I've heard doctors say both so I'm not sure.
Went to my regular physician for a routine check-up, monitoring of my thyroid level... I'm just a walking chemical stew at this point. lol
He asked me for a urine sample and the sample I gave was.... excuse my detail here... orange looking. I remember seeing that discoloration of the urine might occur in one of the new pills I take now so it was no huge surprise.
I was a little tired amd groggy at mid-day today while at the doctors office. I was so used to it from being on the Mirapex that I hardly noticed it. It was certainly less than it has been since stopping the Mirapex.
Which is a good thing.
I was also harried this morning because I had several things to do before going to the doctor. I'm afraid, to quote comedian John Pinnette, that I lost my cherubic disposition.

Great to see you back Lalo!Sorry bout the hand tremors, but CUDO's on reducing your depression. The symptoms your wife mentions are perhaps behaviors you didn't have pre-depression, but they are certainly a lot less than that scary dark abyss you mention and I recognize.I hope you make it to the support group. It's good that they have a professional present, rather than just a group of folks better off and worse off than you to get you worrying. (something I've heard that in-person groups can do) Sleep study: awful! Been there, done that, twice!! Superglue-ing electrodes to my head!!! You are so right that it's not comfortable. My first was when I was way to sick to sleep hardly at all, therefore, not definitive on apnea, but definitive that I got no sleep deeper than stage 1. 2nd test was for apnea, a couple of years later....I had slight apnea and the doc suggested I try the APAP, but I asked about removing my huge tonsils etc since he'd commented they were the problem in my small mouth/throat....so I had a tonsillectomy and uvulaplasty (they lasered the dangly thing from my throat along with lots of soft palate tissue)....it was horrid to recover from...water hurt.Anywho, I'm sure that's not your problem, maybe restless leg syndrom????Eagerly awaiting your next post....I've found it helpful, and hope you do to....Blessings, Judy
