Lupus and Memory, Skin Cancer on Feet and Ankles
In research designed to figure out why lupus patients have memory problems, scientists have discovered that the immune system can send defensive antibody cells into the brain and selectively remove memory cells.
The foot and ankle are as prone to skin cancer as any other part of the body, and melanoma is likely to be misdiagnosed on the foot.

Celebrex Treats Skin Cancer, Shark Bile and Acne
Doctors have found that Celebrex, a medication often used in the treatment of joint pain and inflammation, may help fight basal cell skin cancers.
"A new product developed by a Melbourne scientist, called Ketsugo, is based on Isolutrol (sodium scymnol sulphate) from shark bile, and was found to control the skin's oil production."
A furniture store in New Zealand is giving away free Botox injections to "any customer who buys a 2.5-seater couch or a paskaliss bed."

Skin Cancer on Rise, Acne and Genetics
"When Dr. John Kirkwood arrived at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute 20 years ago, he saw 50 to 100 new melanoma cases a year. Now he's seeing 500 new cases a year."

Skin Cancer, New Acne Study
Scientists say they have found important new clues in the search for a treatment for skin cancer.
According to a newly published study, acne pimples are the product of a hardy bacterium.
