Counterfeit Tamiflu Seized in San Francisco

Federal customs agents have seized more than four dozen shipments of counterfeit Tamiflu pills, the antiviral drug used to treat Avian flu, at a U.S. post office in South San Francisco, authorities said Sunday.

The seizures of 51 packages marked "generic Tamiflu" began Nov. 26 and continued through last week, Roxanne Hercules, spokeswoman for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, said Sunday. (sfgate.com)
