North Korea has developed a candy it claims is good for children and will help them increase their height, weight and IQ, a pro-North Korea newspaper published in Japan said on Friday. (Reuters)

"The latest fad in weight loss has people looking to the heavens for help. A growing trend in dieting focuses in on Christian-based meal plans, asking the question, "What would Jesus eat?" ... You can even buy biblical food products. They're called “Bible Bars,” made of limited ingredients like oats, honey and figs - foods that are specifically mentioned in the bible."

"A study by NPD Group, an independent marketing information company, found that the percentage of American adults on any low-carb diet in 2004 peaked at 9.1 percent in February and dropped to 4.9 percent by early November."
