Paula Abdul Has RSD

Singer Paula Abdul went public this week with her private battle with a debilitating pain disorder -- the same disorder that struck a former NBC 10 reporter.
Abdul said she has been in excruciating pain for 25 years and it wasn't until a few months ago that she was finally diagnosed with reflex sympathetic dystrophy. (NBC10)

Pfizer's Bextra Recalled

US health officials asked Pfizer to halt sales of its Bextra arthritis medication due to potential risks, and ordered new warning labels for others in a similar class of drugs, including Pfizer's Celebrex.

Childhood Pain May Have Long Term Effect

Millions of Americans suffer from chronic pain caused by arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraines and a variety of other illnesses. Now pain researchers meeting in Boston report that some of that discomfort may stem from pain experienced during childhood.
