Scallions have significant prostate cancer-fighting properties. In one study, men who ate one-tenth of an ounce or more of scallions per day had a 70% reduction in prostate cancer risk. Garlic also has substantial protective qualities, with a tenth of an ounce per day boasting a 53% reduction in prostate cancer risk.
